The essence of the idea here is that if there was 1 drop of feces in the water tower, no one would want to drink it. Why is that?
CA been talking about this for decades given the drought conditions. Lot’s of push back. Many wanted more desalination but the greenie weenies wouldn’t allow that - too much energy. Greenie weenies having their way now making everyone drink human waste water. Ironic that they do it now that the drought is over.

I thought MOST places already recycled water. Most to “non-drinking” but more are sending it (with additional filtering) to tap water:

No one makes water. It’s the all same water since beginning of time. Your bottled water has been pooped out millions of times.

A few years ago, I had a backhaul from a trip down to southern AL. I picked up a load of bottled water (’Desani’ I think) in Montgomery, at a Coca Cola owned plant. I asked the shipping agent where the water comes from. She said: “Montgomery city water dept”.
Seriously. I thought this was Babylon Bee when we’ve had water and septic filtration for years. A friend had to fish the condoms out of the holding tank, something I didn’t need to hear at 16 as a young woman. LOL. I’m turning 65 in Feb. so I guess we’ve been living in the future or something. Some people aren’t ready for the beautiful future I’ve seen.
