Ha, ha! What a laugh. I was stationed in England in the 70s. Their food was awful.
My sister was stationed there in the late 70’s and we visited her and I totally agree with your assessment of British food. Except their Yorkshire pudding, at least at the place we had it.
And the Chinese restaurant we ate at was the best I ever had.
