Yes, that one and others. Look at the history of large midwest and eastern earthquakes, such as the 7.3 magnitude quake on September 1, 1886, in Charleston, S.C. Heck, imagine a 5.2 in New York City, the last of that size there was in 1884 and prior to that in 1737.

I live on the Woodbine fault line in TX. It runs all the way to Pleasanton south of San Antonio. Still an oil play all the way.

Who the heck was in the earthquake magnitude measuring business back in 1884 or 1737? Are they just making stuff up?
