We have a friend and she is really in need of a hysterectomy, having lots of pain and problems. But she has a low iron count and is (justifiably so) afraid of getting a transfusion during the surgery. She is trying to get her blood count up. I don't know where she is at this point. Gonna have to check in with her.
I told my wife that if I end up in the hospital and am unable to handle it myself, that she is to get a signed document that I will be given NO meds of any kind based on mRNA technology.
People are worried about the blood supply - just saw this a couple of days ago (I think Montana also had a bill to exclude mRNA from the blood supply that failed):
Illinois House Bill Requires Donated Blood to be Screened for mRNA Vaccines

It’s possible to “bank” blood before an operation. If her iron count is low she probably can’t bank her own right now, but if she has a friend or relative with a compatible blood type, maybe her doctor would be able to work with that?
No idea if they’ll allow that, just throwing out possibilities.
