</chuckle>
Rather than shoot the TV, I also turn it off.
**because democracy depends on an agreed-upon set of facts,**
Agreed upon at those morning teleconferences between the leftist smoke and mirror bosses.
**a free press to discover them**
A micromanaged leftist press to create them.
**and a public square where citizens can find compromise over their differences.**
A public square where no compromise leftists can freely assault citizens without fear of arrest.
They should stop by our place and ask. Hey lame stream.....๐

Yes, we do.
Great post.
The writers, employees of the WaPo, don’t know a single person who hates the media. Ergo . . .
Nobody hates the media.
She had no hope actually. Watch the last few minutes of a film called ‘Vicki’, where Tori’s daddy (about 20 at the time?) plays an apartment switchboard operator.
(I only skipped through it to watch Richard Boone play a crooked detective, and saw the ending)
“How did Nixon win, I don’t know anybody who voted for Nixon!”
“I used to read 3 newspapers per day plus watch the nightly news on cable.”
Me also. I still watch Fox News, on occasion, but have mostly switched to NEWSMAX.
Thx.:-)
Also Washington Post:
NORCโs General Social Survey, which measures trust in institutions, finds that the news media and Congress share the lowest levels of confidence of any institutions in the country โ below 10 percent report โa great dealโ of confidence in either.
People do not hate the corporate mocking-bird media as much as they should, but they definitely hate it more than the WaPo thinks they do.
The NYTs, Politico, and WaPo think THEY are the media and the ones who should form opinions. You should only listen to them and they will tell you what to think. If those journalists actually reported on issues rather than manipulated facts, their pay would not be nearly as high as what they currently receive. They are all whores and their pay is obviously subject to negotiation since they will change their opinion overnight for the right price.
LOL!
She’s a real piece of work...
There was a GI who took a leave during the siege at Khe Sanh, where he had been fighting. When he got home he read Newsweek and concluded that the situation was dire and we were getting beaten badly. When he returned after his leave, and to his surprise, we were still pounding Giap and the NVA like when he left. After heavy losses, the NVA withdrew. The press had reported it as another Dien Bien Phu. They were lying because they wanted it to be true.
I hate the leftist media.
Yep that’s it. I won’t spoil it. You watch the last ten minutes or so and you’ll pretty much get the whole story.
nope... they hate it more.
