There is absolutely no public interest reason that these databases, stripped of personal identifiers, shouldn’t open to public scrutiny. Let the chips fall where they may.
The only interests it serves in keeping them sealed is that of big pharma and the people (politicians, bureaucrats, media) who may regret getting into bed with them if the data is unfavorable. If the data is very unfavorable, these people will lose credibility, face demands for resignation, lose the public trust or worse.
