That being said:

I firmly believe everyone is entitled to freedom of thought and expression. However, I also am entitled freedom of thought and expression.

I am not here to be responsible to dictate any viewpoint. The responsibility for each individual is to weigh information and develop their own point of view.

I have a sense of obligation to share information that others may not have access. Actually, sharing, discussing & learning is what Free Republic is all about!

As I am interested in political topics, I rather choose to compare different views to determine which is based on truth and facts with logic and empirical evidence. I can also tell you that I have learned from people whose views are opposite mine. But not because their viewpoint influence or control mine. Instead, because they push me to research further for confirmation of my views.

That's just nonsense because facts are news, and your not liking those facts doesn't automatically make them fake or propaganda.

Of course, most news directly from Ukraine will be sympathetic to Ukrainians, and there's a lot of it to post daily.

There is a lot less hard news directly from Russia, and some of it does get posted here.
But what the pro-Russians lack in hard facts they more than compensate for with vicious personal attacks on and mockery of not just Ukrainians themselves, but also anyone who tries to defend them.

And of course, being also Woke Warriors, if you call pro-Russians out for bad behavior, they will respond angrily that you have invaded their safe space and hurt their feeeeeeelings, which makes you the bad person who needs to be canceled, deleted or zotted.
