LOL. I used to ski in blue jeans until one spring day in the mid 70s they got completely soaked and I got hypothermia. I was shaking violently and could not stop. I headed back to the car pronto and got the heater going full blast. It took quite a while for the shaking to subside.
I bought waterproof ski pants shortly thereafter.
If you skied New Mexico at Spring Break, you were more likely to have heat exhaustion.
