Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson clarified that none of his friends support President Joe Biden, though they support the Democratic Party.
During an interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” The Rock spoke to host Joe Rogan about how he joined the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE), the ongoing situation between Israel and Hamas, the Maui wildfires, and the increased political division in the United States.
Rogan brought up how the U.S. is “divided and polarized” and placed the blame on social media and people who are addicted to their phones, social media apps, and “reading stuff and attacking each other.”
“When I was a kid, you could have a Republican friend. It was no big deal. It’s no big deal,” Rogan said. “Like, ‘Oh, Bobby likes George Bush.’ Who cares? Who gives a f**k? You know, you were a supporter of Bill Clinton, he liked George Bush. Nobody cared.”
Rogan continued, “Nobody like, ‘f**k you.’ It wasn’t like, ‘you’re a Nazi.’ Like what do you mean I’m a Nazi? I just want lower taxes.”
In a FiveThirtyEight/Ipsos poll conducted between May 26, 2022 and June 6, 2022, 28% of Americans expressed concern with political extremism or polarization in the U.S.
A more recent poll conducted by Gallup in August showed that the issues that Americans agreed on were becoming more divided, especially on topics related to government power, global warming, and abortion.
“Dude, it’s the craziest thing. I have friends who support Trump,” The Rock responded. “I have friends who support Biden.”
When questioned as to whether The Rock really had friends “who support Biden” The Rock clarified that they support the Democratic Party.
“No, no, no, no,” The Rock said. “Here’s what I do. I have friends – thank you. That’s a good check. Because that’s important. This is important context.”
Rogan interrupted him by saying, “they support the Democratic Party,” to which The Rock agreed.
“I have friends who are loyal to the party,” The Rock explained, adding that he also has friends who supported Trump and those who said, ‘f**k it, I’m not voting for either one.'”
A recent Rasmussen Reports poll conducted between Nov. 9 and 15 showed that Biden had an approval rating of 42% and a disapproval rating of 56%. Similarly, an RMG Research poll conducted between Nov. 13 and 14 showed Biden with a 39% approval rating and a 58% disapproval rating.
Truth and Accuracy
I bet they still “voted” for Brandon.
I’m sure they support someone even worse.
There is only one Rock, and that is Jesus.
The Rock as President? At least he would be better than Biden and Newsom. But not much, just another useful idiot for The Deep State.
If they knew Obama was actually running the show, they’d love Joe.
I don’t trust that guy.
He should advise them to sit out the 2024 election if they are dem-o-rats.
Way to we that finger to see which way the wind blows Dewayne
Which means Joe isn’t progressive enough. Does this asshat have a book or movie coming out?
With our centralized, social-engineering, debt-bloated government at all levels, we are increasingly faced with a “winner-take-all” scenario.
Of course people will become polarized.
You’re instinct is correct. He’s not trustworthy.
After his appearance alongside Oprah, begging for donations for the Maui citizens, Dwayne can go have sex with himself.
The Las Vegas Golden Knights support him and Joe Pedo is a big athletic supporter too.
He’s not hollywood hot like he was a few years ago, so who knows.
He's a friggin actor. That and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee, that's it.
“If they knew Obama was actually running the show, they’d love Joe.”
Obama was a puppet to his masters.
