One of Australia's top doctors has rejected calls for the return of a mask mandate as COVID-19 hospitalisations rise across the country. Dr Nick Coatsworth told Today it was important to remember that vaccination and booster shots remained a strong defence against COVID-19. It follows media reports that Queensland doctors were calling for the return of the mandate at public gatherings and in hospitals, GP surgeries.

It is so sad to see the generally chunky women around here wearing masks all day.
Lets keep the fake drama in the TV shows and not make public policy based on it.
The people I see wearing masks don’t look like the ones society needs to survive a pandemic

—No one wore that mask all the time; not even the @ssholes making the rules, some folks that felt empowered telling other people to wear a mask, or those writing about the science of how it will protect us.
—Many people wore the mask incorrectly. This includes wearing the mask for an excessive time and that constitutes MOST people. That mask was only truly effective for a short time and once damp from ones breath whatever little effectiveness it did have goes down even more.
—Many of the masks were recycled and filthy, literally a bio-hazard.
—The mask in most cases won’t do much for a virus that size.
—The mask does not protect one from contact transmission which is possible with such a virus.
The mask was ALWAYS political theater.
All those folks that were involved in closing businesses, schools, arresting a hair dressers in El Paso for not following the rules, their names should be immortalized as examples of people not to follow or vote for.
They should be remembered as spineless and irrational, the same type of folks which would have burned people at the stake a long time past. These are not people that should be in positions of public trust where their poor judgement based on group acceptance (group think / bandwagon, appeals to authority, appeals to celebrity, appeals to emotions, fear mongering) can lead to impacting peoples lives and even stripping folks of their most basic constitutionally protected rights! The Constitution was written for exactly that purpose, to protect people from the over reach and angry mob which often forms with these trendy issues. Instead of “leading” most of these spineless cowards simply chose to jump on board and exploited Covid to the maximum, adding their 10 cents to the craziness and hoping to be noticed.
There should be lists of politicians, judges, mayors, governors, senior level government bureaucrats who deserve recognition for their actions during Covid and be avoided for life. These are creatures of low character, they for the most part knew it was BS but simply went along with it and they should NEVER get your vote or support. People make mistakes and they change, but those that were on board with this have a character weakness which was no mistake and you do not want these type of people in positions affecting other peoples lives.
Remember those who were involved!
That includes the entire medical “community.”
Waiting to see the video of those brave cops beating the tar out of him for non compliance, the shipping him off to one of the “camps” they built for quarantine and re education.

And there is a reason why you have so many kids getting mutilated by medical “professionals” today, their minds twisted, or they become sterile for life and mess up their development because of hormones that were given to them.
I would argue, to be (((moral))) and to be a true (((leader))) takes courage and that is something which most people in leadership and professions which impact other peoples lives lack.
Most people go with the flow.
