Childhood vaccines have saved millions of people from deaths due to typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio and many more. A few will die from rare reactions to the vaccines. But, as I said, millions are saved.

I used to believe that. But I did some reading and I'm not sure it's true any more. Even so ... an mRNA vaccine that causes your body to produce something the rest of your body is designed to attack and kill is NOT the same thing as a traditional attenuated pathogen vaccine. Night and day different. Pretending an mRNA vaccine is the same as a traditional vaccine is like pouring vodka on the kid's breakfast cereal and pretending it's milk.

I remember, not as a toddler, but under seven years old, getting a shot from a special type of "gun" that seemed to have five or six in one. That was back in the sixties. When they mandate 11 shots by two, you are going to get multiples unless you want to live at the doctor's office.

Because of antivaxxers, we are getting diseases that were wiped out of the country. But selfish parents would rather see their kids get polio, scarlet fever, legionnaires diseas and a bunch have made a comeback because parents refused vaccinations. I think anti-biotics, local climate control, better working conditions, medicines and treatments unrelated to vaccines, and broader availability of nutritious food have much more more to do with the increase in life expectancy of the last 150 years than vaccines, a lot of the more effective ones (e.g. polio) having more to do with quality of life than life expectancy per se.
