Thank you for the post. I’m a huge Steely Dan fan.
Saw them in concert once, it was a joke. The lead singer was a fill in substitute and sounded nothing like the bands’ songs. Steely Dan is a studio group, that is what they do best.
Not me. I detest their music.
Jeff Baxter is my favorite. Love his work on missile defense.
Never did get their schtick. Someone once said there was an element of comedy in their songs.
They’re pretty good.
I saw them in CT a long time ago, and they came to a local venue last year.
Donald Fagen told me he didn’t want any unvaccinated people at his show, so he can eat sh½t.
I’ve seen them twice. Two outstanding concerts.
Saw them on Long Island with the Eagles in Oct. Was never a fan but they did a good show, but with a very good group of back up musicians. But Eagles were the show that night.
Pretty much my absolute fav band, and I say that feeling unfaithful to the Beatles who I also love. I am happy to learn they did too.
Saw them a few years back and they were spot on. Great concert. Love their songs. Even Fagan knew work.
Turn up the Eagles the neighbors are listening.
