I'm getting about 39 MPG lifetime on my plain hybrid, and it's 10 years old now with about 50,000 miles on it.

My one ton diesel, with sled deck and drawers loaded with tools (10,000 lbs) with no trailer or other load will do 33mpg. Diesel should be pushed more.
