I will.
I believe The Senate passed a bill to finally end DST. It’s on Biden’s desk. He just needs sign it.
No clock-setting here, which suits me fine.
Arizona don’t go along with the “change the clocks” claptrap.
It is not Spring Back, Fall Forward?
Hopefully this will be the last time we change the time.
Thank you! I didn’t realize tonight was the night.
No thanks! I’m in Arizona.
setting mine back to 1775!
Wyatt (Peter Fonda) in Easy Rider was the smart one.
Threw his watch away. No time change problems.⌚🧺
Oddity: A continuity mistake in some scenes was due to Fonda offscreen treating himself to buying a new watch to celebrate his first screenplay acceptance by the studio.
Some scenes show him with the watch, others with no watch.
When he throws the watch on the ground you can see it’s a cheap Timex. When it’s back on his wrist it’s the expensive Rolex Fonda forgot to take off.
All time zones should be abolished.
Around these parts the Government says to turn the clocks back at 2AM so the bars can’t stay open an extra hour, so I set my alarm for 2AM to wake up and change my clocks then just like my Government says to do...../s
My husband and I fuss about this twice per year.
I like DST. It reminds me of childhood, and getting to stay up and out later in the evening - lightning bugs, little kid baseball games under the street lights, lying outside on the grass watching the stars...
And I like it when we change again in the Fall - it means the holidays are coming, and all of that excitement.
Husband despises it all, and thinks it should be abolished.
(But he dutifully changes all the clocks - the ones that still need to be changed - early in the morning, while I’m still snoring.)
I’m on the left coast and have already set my clocks back, but the time change still messes with my sleep pattern for a few days.
I know I’m in a minority here but I happen to like changing the clock. It’s traditional and I love that. What difference does it make to those who rampage about it every year? The people in this country are such spoiled brats; according to them, everything must be changed because....well because they say so. Just MHO
Unfortunately...the dog’s clock doesn’t get set back.
Didn’t bother. In the Spring, it matters but in the Fall, it’s not going to make me late for anything. Quite the opposite. I’ll change them today. PC changed automatically of course.
I think it’s stupid. Something to do with farmers long ago? Like it made the day longer?
I’m fully retired now and a clock has very little meaning to me anymore. A calendar has no meaning.
Life is truly good right now.
Somehow, I managed to sleep an extra hour this morning
I can’t get over how neat it is that my Citizen watch changes time without my involvement.
