Sounds like they didn’t get the ‘correct’ results (which is to show red meat kills), so no more federal funding for them.
No, kidding. As soon as I saw those results I went to see who paid for the research and whether they would be happy or angry.
I found "The Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) is a medical research study involving more than 6,000 men and women from six communities in the United States. MESA is sponsored by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health."
So, yes, I doubt NIH is happy with their findings. They were hoping for findings to force everybody to eat bugs by 2028.
