Matthew Perry, a comic actor known for playing the sarcastic, boyishly charming and tightly wound Chandler Bing in the long-running sitcom “Friends,” was found dead Oct. 28 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54.
Perry was discovered by a witness unresponsive in his hot tub at about 4 p.m. Saturday, Capt. Kelly Muniz of the Los Angeles police said in a statement Sunday. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded and pronounced Perry dead on the scene, she said, adding that detectives from the LAPD’s robbery-homicide division investigated and found “no obvious signs of trauma.” The official cause of death is pending a coroner’s investigation, Muniz said. The coroner’s office confirmed the death on Sunday with an examination still pending.

Maybe....
As the old saying goes, dying is easy. It’s comedy that’s hard. Again, RIP Matthew Perry. I tend to think of these successful actors as having it all and they certainly do financially. But everyone has problems to deal with too.
i always thought they ripped off a lot of episode ideas from Seinfeld.
Off topic but LOL nonetheless.
Never cared much for the show. He, like his talentless costars, just happened to win the genetic raffle and was born good looking. Because that’s all Hollywood cares about, he gets hired as an “actor” and makes a gajillion dollars a year. Then the poor schmuck can’t handle it and gets addicted to booze and drugs.
It’s a waste.
Well said. Hollywood these days is the dregs of society.
Phoebe was funny.
Cool! I caught part of those episodes but didn’t watch enough to get the storyline.
I’m thinking she should see all those who got it and pass away. Think of how nervous she’ll be wondering daily if today is the day her ticket gets pulled.
I was watching the news and they talk about him like he’s Mother Teresa and the pope will make him a saint soon. The liberal media really overdo it sometimes.
The medical examiner said drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of an opioid also contributed to the death of the “Friends” actor, who was found in a hot tub in October.

Ketamine isn’t an opioid, but yeah, he had many problems for years.
