I always have doubts that these things are true and not put-ons, for clicks and views.
Good point.
Well, she is looking “for like, a guy...”
Maybe this is her pitch?
(Probably shouldn’t have mentioned being on her period.)
I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume this is real. But such kind of reaction to a drastic change in lifestyle (from college student to full time corporate employee) always happened. But it never got channelled to the masses because the technology, the platform and the culture did not exist. Today it's easy to make a video. Easy to distribute to the world in minutes. But most significantly we live in a culture - among the younger generations mostly, where we feel the need to channel our emotions to the whole world. I am sure the older generations went through what she is going through but it kept to themselves. But it's only temporary and like everyone else before her she will adjust.
Nobody acts that well, not even Meryl Streep!................
If I didn't personally know people like this, I would wonder as well. But this is not out of the ordinary. 50 years ago my French teacher who was very well traveled told our class that people in the United States were much harder working than people in other parts of the world. Things have changed since then.
“I always have doubts that these things are true and not put-ons, for clicks and views.”
...she’s pretty convincing. I must say, you have to be damn stupid to post something like this and not expect repercussions. Like getting fired.
My first thought as I watched it. The “likes” and “literallys” were a bit too practiced.
