An 18-month-old girl allegedly ate candy laced with methamphetamine and had to be hospitalized, according to staff at General Hospital in Rosarito, Baja California, about 25 miles south of the border.
The toddler was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning.
Police say a pediatrician at the facility determined the girl had gotten sick after eating a piece of candy, and that tests revealed she had meth in her system.

Here in Phoenix we went from Cannibis being illegal, to available with prescription, to recreational.
Now, our neighbor’s pot smoking makes makes my front lawn smell awfull when he has a party.
While tobacco ads, where they are allowed, are dominated with warnings, the cannibis ads are colorful and warning free.
Here in Phoenix, there are billboards for “Ladylike Cannibis” (by women, for women), cannibis gummies, cannibis seltzer, cannibis cheeseburgers, cannibis coffee, cannibis pizza, etc. For something that was a prescription medicine not long ago, dosing controls have gone completely out the window.
With all these packaged products containing cannibis, I am sure plenty is winding up in children. I know a hot of cannibis is not as serious as meth, but the imprimatur of the entire consumer structure making it impossible to avoid makes it much, much more likely for anyone who has money for these products (I am sure they are not cheap).

In the last two years, I have seen so many toddlers who have died from eating fentanyl. Not to mention children of other ages. I just looked and there were some meth ones also, but a lot of fentanyl.
That's not to mention how we tell children they are transgender, and give them terrible surgeries and drugs for it. We are light years ahead of Mexico in that. Hopefully, Mexico never goes there.
But we do a lot of bad things to our children here.
I like em when I can get them to spur my appetite. I lost my taste a couple years ago so I have to force myself to eat
