The deceased director, Halyna Hutchins, directed Alec Baldwin to point a real gun at her to practice a scene, without using ballistic shields or prop guns.

She could have insisted Alec Baldwin practice the scene with a blue safety gun.

She could have insisted Alec Baldwin practice the scene with a prop gun instead of a real one.

She could have directed Alec Baldwin to point the gun in a safe direction instead of directly at her.

She could have insisted on ballistic shields for safety.

She could have worn a bullet-proof vest and helmet.

But...

Maybe this was Suicide by Baldwin?

Doesn’t change the fact he pulled the trigger and killed her, but that’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Otherwise who the hell allowed live ammo to be loaded into that gun?

It’s not her fault no matter what she said or did. The fault lies with the person that loaded or left live ammunition in the gun, the persons (including Baldwin) who didn’t check said ammo in the gun before firing it, and Baldwin who fired the gun.

So are you saying it’s the victim’s own fault that she got killed?

Sounds like you are.

I am so glad that he is being recharged. I hope the grand jury delivers an indictment!

He is RESPONSIBLE for her death, PERIOD!

The old “I didn’t know the gun was loaded” excuse is never valid.

Yours is the first attempt I have seen to blame the director of photography for her death.

You’re laying all the responsibility of what happened on the victim?
Uh…NO. Baldwin held the firearm, HE bears the responsibility for what happened. The armorer does bear some as well, for not doing her job, but Baldwin, quite literally, pulled the trigger.

How is it a real firearm with live ammo was on the set in an actor’s hand? This doesn’t make sense to me.
