That sounds like it would be a good movie to see. Sometimes, I’m in the mood to see an arty, quirky film that pops up for no good reason. Napoleon Dynamite was such a film.
I can’t really say what made me decide to go see it. Maybe I thought the title would be interesting, but in a silly way.
It’s 1950s Americana with Lucy and Desi at their best. My mom said that the house trailer shows in California were just like the one shown in the movie. It’s a comedy but a bit more polished than the I Love Lucy shows, and, of course, in MGM color/style. They had to use a similar-looking heavier car to pull the 36-foot trailer up the steep mountain road, which is one of the best parts of the movie. I won’t babble any further, in case you decide to watch it sometime.
