Those online estimates of net worths are napkin calculations. They don’t take into account how the person spends their money. You can take two celebrities with similar incomes throughout their career and they can have totally different net worths, because their lifestyles are different.
I can’t prove anything is out of order, but it doesn’t make sense that she would now be reduced to begging for coins from strangers online. Her sister could help out by explaining why. To leave that part unexplained, unacknowledged looks suspicious.

Yes, why wouldn't a sister want to humiliate her sister, who she loves, publicly. Everyone wants to remember her as the smiling pixie she was in 1984. How dare she show us that everything isn't sunshine and rainbows after that.

I have been seeing her in late-night tv commercials the last few weeks Haven’t paid attention to what she was hawking, I think one of those $9.95 a month life insurance policies, or maybe some medical device.

I thought Obama care created situations where a person could NOT pay out of pocket. Without an insurance provider they have to sign up for one of those stupid plans along with say Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

When I traveled to Asia, I literally carried around tens of thousands in cash. I needed it. I spent 3,500 on a souvenir for my son.
thx for the post. i happened to watch so much of that olympics in person as we grew up in the area. she was the star by far. didn’t know she was so sick. so easiest thing in the world is to give a few bucks to fund her treatment and wing a prayer for her. she’s so deserving!
