So what's the rule about eating non-moldy cheese (swiss, cheddar, for example) that has mold on it?
I just cut off the visibly moldy parts and eat it. My wife thinks this is crazy and throws it away.

For the record though, if my cheese looks like the top picture, I’m chucking it in the trash. Mold on the edge or corners, I’ll cut it off and eat it.

I cut off the moldy part, too. Many cheeses are very dense so I don’t worry about it.
Bread, on the other hand, is a different story. I’ve seen that stuff under a microscope before. If you find mold on bread, toss it. Unless you’re starving and it’s your only food source, toss it.

I hate bleu cheese dressing, Roquefort, Gorgonzola, and stinky cheeses. They really do make me nauseous.

I looked it up and "ational" is a word.
