YES !!! Beyond stupid they already have all the electronics in the cars just a few thousand keystrokes and add a few Fields to the Database that Link the GPS To the Enhanced Track Map. Hell I could do that for them probably in a few days and their IT/SOFTWARE TEAM should have no problem getting that done.

NUTSCAR did the same basic thing for Pit Road Violations with IIRC 120+/- Cameras and the Computer makes the Call, no opinions or favoritism.

Maybe F1 just hasn’t figured out how to make it Cost 100 times more than it should.

Or go MAD MAX on them and put 200mm Spikes at the Track Limits. If someone crashes or comes back to the Box with shredded Tarz then everyone will know what happened.🤪

Maximilan Don’tslowdownmuchlessverstoppen could (and probably will) win the 2023 WDC in tomorrow’s sprint shootout. Which means far fewer of the F1 fans will get to see it happen than if it were to happen in the race itself.

Because F1 is run by clowns and there’s nothing clowns love more than a carnival side show.
