Yes, my error. He looks like him so I thought it was him.

I watched the Kelce documentary. I knew that their bodies get torn up but watching Jason barely able to function makes me wonder how bad the pain is when they finally hit old age.

His Miller Lite commercials with Bubba Smith were great.

Those were the days of 37 man rosters. In 63 the OL and DL starters for the NY Giants played every down. And in the Championship against Da Bears YA Tittle played the 2nd half with torn ligaments in his left knee, courtesy of Larry Morris, Ditka’s partner at linebacker.

My old roommate was a 10th round draft pick back in the 1980’s. He never played a down after trying to make the Lions and Broncos and he complained about aches and pains from college. He was an old school LB too. The speed & strength of today’s players is incredible.

One of the truly great ones. Butkus and Ray Nitschke were the dominant linebackers in the 1960s, the heirs apparent to the 1950s and early 1960s greats Sam Huff and Chuck Bednarik.

Yes, real men. Now with CRT pretend thing, as real as global climate change. Nobody plays real football. You get a bump on the noggin? Smelling salts and get out there next series. They weren’t getting squat for pay, and played with love and passion. Anyone who remembers football, that 2 1/2 hour game of sweat, blood and steel nerves, cannot stand the primaddona game. It is more like the NBA than football. If a QB is lighting you up, you put an extra hurting on him BITD. Now they are wrapped in bubble wrap and are about as tough as wet toilet paper.

Yes he would, he was quite good at coverage. In the game today, he would be considered a pariah. No fair hitting superstars, not even kickoff returns anymore. NFL is a joke.
