Why are alligators a protected species? It is not right to allow them in close proximity to other life. They are a threat and prohibit humans and other animals freedom of movement.

Maybe the gator was trying to get the human to a hospital.
What if the gator was trying to revive the human, using, admittedly, unorthodox methods, but with goodness in its heart none-the-less?
I think this gator deserves a medal and a cul-de-sac named after it.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks with me, but that gator does not look to be 14 ft long or the person standing beside it is 10 ft tall. I’ve seen several that were 12 ft and they looked huge.
