Some folks (including me) just prefer the female voice. But oh my goodness. Lara Trump either has a terrible singing voice or she was just off here.
So, yeah. I’ll stick with Tom Petty’s version, at least until Judy Collins covers this song.🙂

Her voice isn’t bad for country but it’s not a good key for her. A couple keys higher would be better.
In any case, I hate(ed) Tom Petty, and never liked the song much.
Sorry, I love President Trump and think the whole family gas been unnecessarily persecuted.
But this is awful; the girl can’t sing.
