I can see the folks at Trump rallies singing this - gives me chills to hear the crowd singing.
Lara can carry a tune, but she has a very nasal voice. Love the song itself.

Her voice isn’t bad for country but it’s not a good key for her. A couple keys higher would be better.
In any case, I hate(ed) Tom Petty, and never liked the song much.

I’m an aficionado of cover songs. It’s always interesting to hear a different interpretation on a familiar song. Many times, I prefer a cover version to the original.

Same here. She might have some potential but she needs some training and a lot of experience...maybe a voice coach.
The bars in Nashville are filled with world-class bands and singers trying to get a break. Lara isn't world-class...yet.
