Curcumin is an extract from turmeric.
Buy it from reputable companies. ConsumerLab has shown Kirkland Signature Turmeric (Costco), Puritan’s Pride Curcuminoids from Turmeric, and Root2 are Top Picks, but others passed, as well.

But that won’t make a pharmaceutical company money, so it’s misinfo.

The dosage was mighty high. I don’t think I could take that many pills a day.

Lots of good info tonight.

95% curcumin is better than just curcumin. You can eat a bucket of curry a day or a half cup of turmeric or a couple of ounces of Curcumin or a gram of 95%.
For reflux my medicare doc prescribed omeprazole but I found that an ounce of lemon juice in 6 ounces of one's preferred mixer before bed works better and has not the side effects.

The stuff at Costco etc. Is costly and basically worthless. You can buy bulk organic turmeric at bulk herbs online. Its Super high quality and very reasonable. We buy 1 lb at a time and make our own capsules. We take it daily for arthritis and I couldn’t tell you the last time I took an advil. I guess it likely helps our acid reflux too.

I’ve been taking tumeric with curcumin for years for muscle/joint swelling. I also quit taking tagament daily, which I attributed to better probiotics. May be the tumeric!
Thanks.
