MTG is right as usual. A fast track impeachment resolution is certain to fail in senate, and then corrupt Joe can crow about him being cleared of misdeeds.
The impeachment inquiry enables more power to House committee to subpoena witnesses and dig up enough evidence to convict. That makes it harder for the Senate club to clear corrupt Joe.

Trump can beat Biden’s record in office easier.
It is going to fail in the Senate anyway. They have been in the majority in the House since January. They weren’t going to do the inquiry until the conservatives made them.
We don’t want them removing Biden before 2024 election. He will be the easiest to beat besides Karmala.
Fast impeachment is a lose-lose for Republicans.
If they find a smoking gun,then Biden doesn’t run in 2024, and we end up with a Dem primary and a potentially competent opponent.
If there is no smoking gun, Biden gets a huge vindication and Republicans look they are now abusing power.
You want to pull the smoking gun after he is locked in as the nominee, so it is either Biden or harris on the ballot, no time for dems to swap in a viable candidate.

Zero evidence Trump ever committed any crime compared to Biden where they have bank records, emails, a laptop, 20 LLCs, witnesses, even admission on video (fire the prosecutor) and THAT is a “witch hunt” but not the harassment of Trump. F Schumer.
If the evidence is so clear of corruption, Then it becomes harder for some senators in purple states to clear Corrupt Joe. But you are right Senate is a big hurdle.
