A female prisoner has claimed she was sexually assaulted by a trans inmate with male genitalia at an all women's jail.
The inmate at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women, where she has been locked up since 2003, claims she was assaulted in September and October last year.
She has now filed a lawsuit against the New Jersey Department of Corrections over the alleged lack of 'corrective action' taken by prison guards about the 'sexually aggressive and harassing behavior of the transgenders'.
The department is accused of failing to implement actions to protect inmates even after 'two female inmates became pregnant from sexual interactions with transgenders', according to local news outlet My Central Jersey.
She said she reported the assault by the transgender inmate - only identified with initials in the lawsuit - to staffers at Edna Mahan, but was given disciplinary action instead, it says in the lawsuit filed on August 29 by Somerville attorney James Wronko.
The transgender inmate who allegedly sexually assaulted her has since been transferred to a male facility.
Another claim made in the lawsuit alleges that transgender prisoners were housed with female inmates in areas not covered by security cameras.
In a separate lawsuit against the Department of Corrections a former Edna Mahan inmate claims she was forced to have sex with a male prison guard.
She claims the guard was in her cell, slapped her on the foot and told her 'to get up and come here' on August 21, 2021.

I know that a lot of “trans” people haven’t had the surgery. But I think it ought to be a requirement — if the guy wants to be in the women’s prison, that’s fine but the surgery comes first. Maybe he’ll change his mind. And if he goes forward, he won’t be quite such a threat.

You put a guy in a dress in a WOMAN’s prison and expect no hanky-panky would happen. NOBODY is that stupid. Okay, wokesters, liberals, democrats, etc.
Maybe the other inmates could provide that service. If the word got around in prisons that trans rapists would end up getting their jewels cut off with a shiv, they my be less likely to want to be in a woman’s prison. If in a woman’s prison already,they would think twice about misbehaving.

Unfortunately when it cones to prisoners, the government is on the hook for the “care,” hormones, surgeries, and all.
Some heinous murderer on death row is suing to get the government to pay for his transition.
Taxpayers should start suing the idiots who make these decisions. It is so absurd that we have to pay for the idiotic decisions of bureaucrats and pols who probably skewered the votes to get in.
