Problems with Brave update

Has anybody had a problem with the Brave browser after updating? I just did a full update and it does not let me get on any websites.

I don’t use Brave, but it sounds like a security issue in the Brave settings.

I have noticed that browsing Youtube using Brave on my laptop no longer blocks ads which really ticks me off.
Oddly, browsing Youtube on my Android phone while using Brave still blocks ads. Go figure?

I have had problems with it since yesterday. Yesterday afternoon it wouldn’t open at all. This morning it did open but does some crazy stuff.

I have noticed that browsing Youtube using Brave on my laptop no longer blocks ads which really ticks me off. That may be YT that is working around the ad-blocking. They've indicated in recent months that they would find a way to sidestep ad-blocking, even with browsers with built-in ad-blocking capability. Brave may or may not be able to adjust in future releases.

On my Mac, Brave shows this:
“Nearly up to date! Relaunch Brave to finish updating.
Version 1.57.53 Chromium: 116.0.5845.114 (Official Build) (arm64)”
Sounds like I don’t want to relaunch.
