This is good.
Good, one of the few things I agree with CA politicians on.
“A Los Angeles city official wants to ban cashless businesses in the area”
Meanwhile, other progressives want to ban cash so that transactions will be easier to monitor. Any policy is fine as along as it is mandatory.
Resisting the move to cashless commerce is the right thing to do, even if their reasons are pure leftist garbage.
Right action...wrong reasoning.
I know of a cashless vegan “ice cream” store in L.A. I tried their “ice cream.” Tasted like sh*t.
The most popular cashless transaction in California is the five-finger discount. /s
Don’t forget Chinamen.
As we know from the news that none of the aforementioned categories are capable of obtaining identification for voting, then surely they can’t comprehend the use of credit cards and suchlike.
I’m not seeing a problem with this...
They want to force businesses to always have cash on hand, so that “scholars” will always have robbery opportunities.
Don’t worry. Leftist support of cash transactions will turn instantly when they are targeting conservatives trying to use cash.
Heather Hutt? Any relation to J’Badah?
Good.
I rarely use cash, but sometimes I want to. When the local animal shelter is collecting donations in front of the market, dropping a $20 bill in the bucket is the easiest way to do it.
So, what do they do when cash is eliminated, as some fearmongers are predicting?
Fine with me, even if their reasoning is drivel.
Cash donations also help you avoid immense quantities of unwanted solicitation calls and emails. Make one donation to anything via credit card, and you’re on every mailing and call list in the world. Probably quite a few from other solar systems too.
I didn’t think the left could ever come up with an idea that is actually good and useful, but this is one.
There are many people who use cash in daily transactions out of necessity - people who do odd jobs, beggars, and people who live out of the general economy. Their cash is essential to them - without it they could not live. Even if it were declared, chances are they still wouldn’t pay taxes.
The radical one-world crazies would like to eliminate cash. They would then have total control, and ownership, of ALL money in the world. They should not have this ability.
