The softest lunar landing I’ve witnessed. They actually hovered above the ground momentarily to make sure everything was OK. They then descended gently to the ground.
Yes, I watched their live coverage, it hovered at 800 meters as it’s local radar took over, guiding it down as it changed to a precision guided landing, hovered severed times, actually, another at 150 meters. Totally on its own, no comm back to earth at this latitude, very impressive, no humans needed.
