Parents of babies murdered by Lucy Letby describe 'eight years of torture' after neonatal nurse was convicted of hospital killing spree - as police launch new probe into 4,000 other newborns in her care (England)

Parents of babies murdered and maimed by Lucy Letby today described their 'eight years of torture' after she was convicted of killing seven newborns - as more families were warned their children could be victims of the pure evil nurse with police now reviewing the care of 4,000 babies admitted to NHS wards where Letby had worked.

The neonatal nurse, 33, now replaces Myra Hindley and Ian Brady as the most prolific child killer in modern British history after a jury found her guilty of murdering seven premature babies and attempting to murder six more. Letby was also found not guilty of two attempted murder charges but the jury could not reach verdicts on six further counts of attempted murder.

She will be sentenced on Monday. But the cowardly killer refused to return to the dock yesterday to hear the last of the guilty verdicts - with the judge admitting he has no power to make her to come up from the cells. Calls are now deafening for a new law to force criminals to face their punishment - and the families of their victims - in court.

In a statement read outside Manchester Crown Court today, the victims' families said: 'We are quite simply stunned. To lose a baby is a heartbreaking experience that no parent should ever have to go through, but to lose a baby or to have a baby harmed in these particular circumstances is unimaginable. Over the past seven to eight years, we have had to go through a long, torturous and emotional journey.

'From losing our precious newborns and grieving their loss, seeing our children who survived, some of whom are still suffering today, to being told years later that their death or collapse might be suspicious, nothing can prepare you for that news.'

She’ll get nothing. UK is a worse gynocentric country than we are.

When I first heard about this, I wondered why she didn’t go work in an abortion “clinic.” She could have participating in killing as many babies as she wanted there without ever facing legal consequences.

I wonder if maybe the reason is that she also wanted to see the parents suffer. Mothers who abort their babies for birth control simply don’t suffer from their babies’ deaths.

Medical profession serial killers are a category as in this book: Angels of Death by Al Cimino.

Note two particularly bad ones-—
“Charles Cullen, who is believed to have killed nearly 400 people during his 16-year stint as a nurse; - Harold Shipman, who killed as many as 200 of his patients - Genene Jones, who kept being hired even after babies continued to die under her watch.”

I wonder if she is sterile. Sterility in women sometimes produces the killing of late term pregnant women and their babies cut out of them. One of those pops up in the news every year or so. The last one I heard was, I believe, in South Texas. Hormones and malfunctioning emotions.

She specialized in preemies whose deaths would be accepted as due to premature birth at least until someone notices that one hospital has a much higher rate than the norm. Even then the administration’s first instinct is to shuffle paper and cover up. Bureaucrats are bureaucrats everywhere.

Well that will be on That Chapter and be a 2 parter on Silent Witness.

How horrid for the babies and parents! How despicable of the administrators to not act earlier.

That’s a bingo! A woman can murder hundreds of other people’s babies and only get probation in the UK. That time is coming to the US as well even with Roe v. Wade over turned.

She worked for the NHS.

Perfect place for a predator to get away with murder.

Meaningless. This is a country that lets off women for attempted murder of a boyfriend because shes studying to be a doctor and they don’t want to damage her future. The courts are hugely gynocentric.
