Why is this NATIONAL news?
It’s not. Its in the New York Post, which is a New York City Paper. Of course, with the rise of social media, and the ongoing need to feed the outrage machine, EVERYTHING then becomes national news.
Because it wasn't a red MAGA hat, which would be acceptable behavior to the MSM.
It is pointing out the hypocrisy of the other “mainstream” news sources.

I’ve had the equivalent happen to me repeatedly, and I’ve never bothered to call cops. Once, in Houston, I was filling up my rental car by Hobby airport when I heard a car rev and zoom by and got drenched with a red slurpee thrown by a heavily melaninated gentleman leaning out of a car screaming “f—-g Jew”. Super fun going through airport security coated in red goo.
That said, it’s relevant because this is the life of observant Jews in America since Obama. The number and constant drumbeat of petty attacks — and the brazenness— is off the charts. I don’t know a single Jewish person that lives in a big city who hasn’t had an incident like this several times a year.
The base of the Democrat party is fouly racist against whites in general, face zero repercussions for their actions, and we Jews are the canaries in the coal mine.
