Fifteen-year-old Rasheed Banks Jr. was arrested Monday in connection with a July 12 attempted carjacking that resulted in the murder of 50-year-old Michael Salerno.
Salerno was “gunned down” while trying to ward off three alleged carjackers, 6 ABC reported. All three alleged carjackers were male.
CBS Philadelphia noted that Banks was arrested by U.S. Marshals.

Police believe Banks and the other carjacking suspects circled the area where Salerno’s car was located searching for a target.

yes, along with youths..along with the famous, “man shoots, kills another man. Suspect dressed in black shirt and wearing blue jeans”..if anyone has seen him, contact police..
Note that the US Marshals got him, not the Philly Police. Given who the mayor, DA and police commissioner are in Philly, it’s likely this “teen” will be back on the street in short order.
Then again maybe he didn’t. Career criminal is viable. Why wouldn’t a thug set up a booth at career day. It’s not out of the realm of the possible in blue cities.
Maybe it’s time to revise the pro-life criteria to exclude ‘killer embryos’.
Is he back out on the street? We can’t have “excessive bail”.
Back in the old days, some of the South Philly Italian citizens would have taken care of things, if you get my drift.
There seems to be a trend starting with murderers getting their first kill as teenagers. Seems to be a new Federal “Your First One Is Free” program.
