I, for one, am appalled that 'someone' has taken this extreme to mute the controversy over TWA800, to the point that it totally ignores not only all the witness testimony, but at one point in the video ATC is in an exchange with another flight - Easywing 507 - and that pilot states clearly that he saw 'landing lights':
"I thought it was a landing light and it was coming right at us about, I don't know, about 15,000 feet or something like that and I pushed on my landing lights."
I stumbled across this video totally by accident.
The last FR thread on TWA800 was almost a year ago; I guess it's time for another one.

Same thing with AA 587 that crashed in Queens in November of 2001. Many people reported the airplane on fire while still in the air. Also it is strange that no similar type of crash ever occurred involving a pilot overusing the rudder control, causing part of the tail assembly to break off.

As the TWA pulls back you can see a JetBlue sticker on the jet way.
TWA 800 incident happened July, 1997. Jetblue was founded in 1998 and didn’t start flying until February 2000.

TWA 800 was downed by a missile, I was in Long Island Sound when I heard chatter about it. I was cruising with my first wife, our two boys and three friends.
It was murder... including to a great airline!
