I've had fruit flies bad this year. On a lark I went to Walmart and found a box of two Zevo insect traps. They're ultraviolet/infrared lights with a sticky surface (that's replaceable). I put one in the kitchen and another in the living room (adjoining the kitchen) and so far they're working great! The sticky parts are almost loaded with flies. I'll recommend them. Get the starter set with two traps.

Thanks; we didn’t have that one, but we had another one with a blue light; it’s been in the kitchen for four days and hasn’t caught a single bug. I think the Raid stuff solved the problem; but if it hasn’t, I’ll look for your suggestion.
