I do believe that VDH may have inadvertently pointed out the ‘why’ of the multiple prosecutions against Trump.
Trump wouldn’t be able to debate if he is in prison (doubtful).
Depriving him of the chance to utterly destroy Biden in a one-on-one.
Biden is so confident that Trump will be incarcerated for debates that he has already announced he [Biden] won’t participate.
Trump can campaign for office, even from prison, as he is Constitutionally qualified.
He cannot -legally- be left off the ballot in the general.
