The question is, can those enzymes, once ingested, BYPASS the gut’s VERY efficient proteolytic abilities and get into the lymphatic system (how food if processed from the small intestine) into the bloodstream, liver and avoid all the foreign protein binding factors there.
It’s why pure Glucosamine shows SOME efficacy against osteoarthritis (for a few months anyway) but chondroitin has never been shown to do anything physiologic.
