Yes, Ram is a quirky wonderful album. And “Monkberry Moon Delight” is my favorite cut too. While McCartney could consistently put out melodic masterpieces, he could also put out some real hard-edged rockers. In fact, I consider “Too Many People” to be one of the hardest, edgiest rockers of all time. Especially near the end of the song. It’s downright shocking even. Some rock journalists didn’t know what to make of it. One journalist even called it violent. I kind of agree. It’s so hard-edged, it’s violent!

But I sure enjoy it.

"Junk" from McCartney is a fantastic song, don't know why The Beatles rejected it.

One of my favorite early McCartney/Wings songs was Helen Wheels. Probably because Helen is both my mother’s name and the name of one of my great nieces.
