As Tennessee lawmakers, we have an obligation to condemn Jason Aldean’s heinous song calling for racist violence,” state Rep. Justin Jones, a Democrat, wrote on Twitter. Among the other prominent voices denouncing “Try That in a Small Town” was Sheryl Crow, who tweeted that “there’s nothing small-town or American about promoting violence.”
Do these people think about what they say? The violence that has been foisted on the big cities would not go down well in small towns because citizens know each other & would respond. The violence is from OTHERS. The others they apparently support.

Jason Aldean writes a song defending the values that ALL Americans used to share - faith, family, hard work, patriotism - only to be immediately sacrificed at the altar of censorship & cancellation. These are the same people who cheer songs like “Cop Killer” & the glorification of sex and violence in hip-hop. Stand strong against these hypocrites and opportunist frauds, Jason Aldean . It’d be a real shame if the song hits #1. We’ll do our part & play it at our rallies.

Just 30 minutes ago my wife and I were watching a DVR program we recorded. After the program was over I flipped back to ABC showing the CMA Musicfest Concert recorded at Nissan stadium about a month ago.
We started discussing the Aldean nonsense and I asked her if he was listed as being on. She said yes. I conjectured that I bet ABC probably edited it out. She said we might have missed it.
Lo and behold we flipped over at the right time and he was introduced and performed this song.

I’m older, I’m white, I’m buff, I’ve got dollars, I love FR, I love the greatest generation, I’m attractive to younger women and if you don’t like that FU, I have fun, I have lots of cars and other toys, I pretty much do what I want and have done so for many years, I’m a page at a glance reader, I’m a nerd, the list goes on.
What really pisses me off? Victims! I’m so tired of victims! I had nothing as a kid, I made myself. If I win it’s on me, if I fail it’s on me.
We have very little time to turn back the clock on this country and make it what made it - American ingenuity.

I live in Michigan. I am stunned by the viciousness of our AG. One of the men they are going after is someone I know, sort of.
I just hope we can get rid of Biden. This country is really circling the drain. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the song.

It’s not racist..unless you’re a Dem, who believes all criminals are black. In reality it’s just a call for decency and race is immaterial.
The major victims of the BLM riots were black people ( and especially black businesses) in those areas, and a lot of the violence was at the hands of the nearly 100% white Antifa.

He’s right. During the summer of 2020, there were rumors that BLM/Antifa types were going to go to a small town in southern Illinois that I am quite familiar with, to burn farms, kill livestock, and create general havoc. It didn’t happen, but the punks would have been in for a world of trouble if they had showed up.
All because he said crime is bad.
A group of “demonstrators” drove from Portland to the county seat of the rural county I grew up in. When they saw that there was a well-armed reception committee at the assembly point they turned around and headed back.

We had a couple of “Antifans” show up in our little town. The locals talked to them for a while & then suggested they leave. Escorted them out of town. The way it should be done.
I wish people would post on rumble and not communist-tube.

This also happened in a small town in Ohio - @30-50 miles East of Cincy. I was happy to see that most of the folks protecting the town were young adults. Antifa left very unhappy.
