Sheryl Crow joined the conversation about Jason Aldean’s controversial new song, “Try That in a Small Town,” saying he should know better.
Aldean, 46, has been accused of promoting violence with his latest song, which includes the inflammatory lyrics: “Got a gun that my granddad gave me / They say one day they’re gonna round up / Well, that ^%^% might fly in the city, good luck / Try that in a small town.”
As a small-town girl herself, Missouri native Crow, 61, called out the country singer for putting out false impressions.

Jason’s right, Sheryl.
Deal with it, Wokie.
Crow, you 15 minutes were up a long, long time ago. Go away you idiot. You haven’t a clue about what you’re talking about. Beginning dementia?

I’m sure she says the same thing about rap.
(no, actually, doing that would be called racist)
Why is everyone acting like this is the first corny, faux-patriotic country song ever?
Probably the same reason they are acting like most rap songs aren't 100% more offensive.
I alway thought of her as a Carly Simon wannabe.
Repeal the 19th Amendment.
Good point 👍
She didn’t “join the conversation” because there wasn’t one. What she did was have her PR form of leftist hacks spread this bull$hit around because someone somewhere pulled her strings.
