Chilling drone footage captured the moment cops combed through the backyard of suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann.
The search came a day after the Manhattan architect, 59, was arrested in New York City, 13 years after the first remains were found in his alleged murder spree.
A fleet of forensic investigators descended on Heuermann's Massapequa Park home Friday in hopes of finding further evidence in the serial murder case that stumped investigators for over a decade.
An array of tarpaulin sheets and white-suited workers littered his ghoulish property, which has seemingly fallen into disrepair despite being shared by his wife and daughter.
A family-sized fridge was among the items seen being seized, and officers said they are still searching for 92 firearms that are registered to Heuermann, but are currently unaccounted for.
Although he has been charged with three homicides linked to the infamous Gilgo Beach serial killer, up to 11 sets of remains - including those of a toddler - were found on the coastline between 2010 and 2011.
And on Friday night, one expert speculated that Heuermann could be behind an even greater number of killings.

I believe he is just one of at least many suspected serial killers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_serial_killers_active_in_the_2020s) but not news worthy until caught.
The media is too busy hating Trump—and calling straight, white folks racists and transphobes when they’re not—for this story to gain national attention until they nabbed a suspect.
Oh. That and “climate change.” They’re busy beating us with that, too.

Well I hope they check out cold cases. Here in Atlantic County, NJ we have a four person serial killer called East Bound Strangler. Killed 4 sex workers in Oct and Nov of 2006 left their bodies on Atlantic City marshes in back of seedy hotel. Might want to check to see where he was.
Is this the one whose victims were often found in shopping carts, or was that a different one?
A couple of "Law & Order-Special Victims Unit" episodes featured the multiple bodies of hookers found near the beaches. Apparently "ripped from the headlines".

The only thing newsworthy about such deaths is if they were committed with an A-s-s-ault Rifle and mass murder. Stealth murders are not interesting.

My understanding, not that I necessarily heard the truth, was that they had the proof of 4 but he said 11. Of course, at one point he was a loner and now there are some saying a partner.
I guess we wont ever really know.
