For nearly all of his 77 years, Henry Winkler says he has been dealing with a learning challenge that he'll never overcome – dyslexia.
"There are times when I am so frustrated by my brain that I hit my head," Winkler tells TODAY.com in a sit-down interview.

Upon being diagnosed at 31, the "Barry" actor says he finally realized that he was dealing with "something with a name." His initial reaction was anger at his parents. "I was so angry that I was yelled at, humiliated. I was grounded. I was punished. For what? For nothing," he says.

Well it doesn’t mean he isn’t stupid or lazy. Just saying.
It doesn’t, but he’s not known for being a carouser or partier. He’s a quiet Jewish kid from Manhattan.
That doesn’t make him smart but it does sound like he may be a bit lazy. Just saying.
Stoopid, yes. Lazee? Unknown.
He has 200 credits as actor and producer. And his main role, as the Fonz, only counts as one credit. He’s not lazy, imo.
But he is saying that he was on his own because his teachers thought he was lazy.
He has had a life-long problem that was poorly understood when he was young. He overcame it enough that although he still struggled he had a successful career. Why would a conservative snipe at anyone like that?
That Winkler was able convert himself from a short, skinny, NY city Jew, to a rough Italian motorcycle gang-brawler, and have us all believe it, was already a great accomplishment.
