I am more of a Ghost and Mr.Chicken fan myself
Thank you. An excellent movie worth watching again.
The movie was great, and I also really enjoyed the TV show ...
One of my favorites. Thx much!
Thx. I saw him in the musical adaptation of Pygmalion but was let down by the ending in the movie. I suppose it was a thing to ensure a happy ending during that time.
I am just old enough to remember watching the TV show. I didn’t know there was a movie as well.
I could watch Gene Tierney reading the phone book.
One of my favorites
I hated that show.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie but I do remember the TV show... It stunk.
I’ve seen it quite a few times already over the years.
I also used to watch the ghost and mrs muir tv show in daily syndicated reruns as a kid in the 1970s. Then they removed it from the free airwaves, never to be seen again. As a result, I dont remember the episodes the way I have memorized the episodes of other classic tv shows. But the opening theme of ghost and mrs. muir has remained in my memory all these years.
Fast forward a few decades. I’m doing some aimless surfing on youtube when i run across full episodes of this show posted there. I begin to watch one and the instant the opening theme played, i was flooded and overwhelmed with fond, nostalgic memories of myself as a kid, sitting in front of the living room 25 inch color tv (The only tv we had in our place, which was the norm back then. Unlike today where practically everyone has a tv in almost each and every room), watching my favorite classic tv shows, movies and cartoons.

Ghost and Mrs Muir - Yesterday When I Was Young - Charles Aznavour
One of my favorite movies that played at 4pm when we got out of grammar school. So good to finally find a song that tells the story.
I have this on DVD but it reminded me that I don’t have Laura so I just ordered it. :-)
A very heartwarming movie.
My favorite version. Thanks for posting.
BKMK and THX!!!
Top 5 of all time on my list.
Thank you for posting the link to this wonderful movie. I first saw it when I was just a teenager. It was the first love story for me and I fell in love with that marvelous sea captain myself. Over the years, I’ve hoped to watch the movie again, but was never able to catch a late night rerun on TV. All these decades later (I’m now 72) I’ve been treated to this wonderful story once more, thanks to you. What a lovely dream it is.
A great movie
