I’m sure there are lots of people who have their own beliefs but don’t really judge others by anything as worldly as politics.

And Jesus said that we should treat everyone with kindness and forgiveness. I know lots of ‘liberals’ who are very nice people, if wrong-headed about politics.

Jesus made friends with and was kind toward all sorts of questionable people, supped with sinners and publicans, etc., in addition to telling us to ‘Judge Not’.

Are you or any of us better than He?

Now you’re taking Jesus out of context. He made friends with people who were repentant, and who were always accused by the self-righteous ruling class.

“Judge not, that ye be not judged / for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” (Matthew 7:1-2) does not contradict John 7:24, which says “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment”.
