Interesting parallel. The Germain socialists promoted liberal views in Germany in the 20s. Anything goes, as far as perversions went. Then, to gather support, they pushed for high morality and noble values.

Very interesting take on Germany in the 20's and 30's. You are correct in that that is exactly what happened.

Hitler tapped into the wave of disgust created by the freakishly perverted Golden Age of Weimar (1925-29).
