Miss Benny played 'Casey,' who she says was the first openly gay character on 'Fuller House'
Candace Cameron Bure is firing back after being accused of homophobia.
In a new TikTok video, Miss Benny claims Bure attempted to have her removed from "Fuller House." Miss Benny, who was born male and played a gay character named Casey on the show before coming out as transgender last month, never mentioned Bure by name but implied that she did not want a queer character on "Fuller House. The allegations stemmed from a video, shared earlier this week, in which Miss Benny mentioned experiencing homophobia on the show's set. When someone asked "Was it Candace?", she responded in much more detail.

Bure responded in a statement shared with Fox News Digital, "I never asked Miss Benny’s character to be removed from ‘Fuller House’ and did not ask the writers, producers or studio executives to not have queer characters on the show."

They’ll go after the Cameron family at every chance. Disgusting.
“Fuller House”?....hmmmm...never heard of it. If I did it went in one ear & out the other. I guess I need to get out more.
Nothing is anyone’s fault these days. If they focused as much on putting out a good and popular products as they do on what they do with their sex parts…everyone would win.
Good gravy the LGBTQXYZs just will not let people alone! I think all straight people and organizations should start cancelling the LGBQs.
(Miss Benny)
OK, I just looked. Belongs on a Bud Light can, apparently.
I stopped watching when that whack job Jodie Sweetin wore a t-shirt saying that all cops are bastards..she really is a piece of work..commie to the core, hates cops, ironic she was married to one
Candace is a gem. Most hockey wives are. My friend Adrienne Maclean comes to mind.
The rest of them can continue to simmer in their own stew of victim-ology, or try living for a change. Like hockey wives/mothers do.
The thing I think is funny is Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark Channel for some other network, and based on an ad, they apparently think they can sub in Jodie Sweetin for her in their movies, and that will work. I am guessing not.
Yeah Ive noticed that..but Candace has been promoting her product line on QVC more lately
I am not in Hallmark's core demo, but I just don't think women are going to like Jodie Sweetin as much Candace. I think women want a star they find attractive, but not in a certain way they find offensive, and Candace is right on target for that.

It was a 2016 to 2020 sequel to the original Full House. It aired on Netflix. The wiki article on Fuller House reference one episode that “Casey” appeared which was nominated for a GLAAD award.
My Mom watches Hallmark..yeah Jodie Sweetin’s old movies are there all the time I cant stand her face so since she already saw the movie she changes the channel
That’s one fugly dude pretending to be a broad. And likely full of cr@p. Trying to get noticed.
Hallmark has made at least one film with Sweetin which wasn’t bad but she is hard to look at.
‘Great American Family’ channel. Hulu and Sling, and probably elsewhere. Bure seems to have a financial stake. No secret she blanched at the gay Hallmark turn.
She was already in Hallmark channel? I thought they just had a new one with her being an amateur sleuth like Candace?
I don’t remember it either.
They hammered her for going to Great American Family network big time:
However, stars like Candace Cameron Bure have fled Hallmark to Great American Family. The former Full House star revealed in an interview with Wall Street Journal that she made the move from Hallmark following “the change of leadership” and it became “a completely different network than when I started.”
Bure also mentioned that GAF would “keep traditional marriage at the core” of its stories, which garnered major backlash. This comment came as Hallmark produced its first Christmas film with a same-sex couple at the core.
Is that what the Hallmark channel audience wants? More LGBT romances and mysteries?
Not sure Sweetin has been in a few of those cheesy Hallmark movies, basically the same sort of storyline, boy falls in love with girl, etc etc to me they are all the same
