“ Missing you” by John Waite is a great song no doubt
That entire album, No Brakes, is phenomenal. His backing band is really what nails it — and he worked with the 80s “new wave” musician/guitarist that I love named Gary Myrick. Gary’s big hit was “She Talks in Stereo” that you might remember from Valley Girl.
I know Gary personally. He’s a big lefty, but man, that cat can play. It’s weird, his father was a WW2 vet — also a big lefty. I just don’t get it. But... a well.
